William Diederich

With over 20 years of executive, board level reporting as a CIO, CTO, and CISO, William is a veteran IT professional with a passion for Technology and Security and an agent of significant positive organizational change. Founder of ‘CISO for You’ his current engagements are focused in security, governance, risk, and compliance for a number of organizations within the US, and previously he’s worked with other global companies to improve their security landscape. His education includes BS and MS Degrees in Engineering and Management. Industry certifications include ISACA’s CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, and CISA and (ISC)2 CISSP and HCISPP certifications. He’s also an insurance industry FLMI and Gulfstream Type Rated Airline Transport Pilot. Formerly Central Ohio’s Education Director and currently President of the Central Ohio ISSA Chapter, William has been responsible for the successful ‘CISSP prep’ class delivering training to record numbers of attendees. Currently, he’s a CISSP instructor for both the ISSA and other industry organizations. Most importantly, he’s an enthusiastic supporter of the InfoSec community and regularly contributes to various activities, including guest speaking at the Central Ohio InfoSec summit and other industry conferences, and the individual development of Information Security professionals.
