Meet Kent
Kent King
CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC
Since 2015, Kent has been the Information Security Officer for the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). He has a BSCIS from The Ohio State University College of Engineering. During the 1980s, he was a software developer with AT&T and then CompuServe. As CompuServe began to deal with online fraud, he became involved in some early information security work. This developed into a career path, and following 17 years at CompuServe, Kent has managed cyber security teams in a number of industries, including energy, insurance, computer services, and higher education. Kent also serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Cyber Security at Columbus State Community College. He is an active member of the central Ohio infosec community and is a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and a past board member and treasurer for the Central Ohio Infragard chapter.
