Meet Joe

 

Joe Miner

Joe Miner has spent his career in a variety of roles, including Manufacturing, IT, Supplier Governance, Business Continuity, and Internal Audit. These roles have led Joe into having a unique skillset in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) space. Joe has been a Business Continuity Planning professional for 24 years, implementing and deploying BCP Plans across the world. Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery also became focus areas, as well as leading a Private Public Partnership in the Greater Cincinnati Area with the Department of Homeland Defense. One of Joe’s career highlights was guest speaking at a NORAD Conference on business resiliency and recovery. Joe has also presented his work on multiple occasions to the Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ) Conferences. Joe holds MBCP and MBCI certifications.

Joe is also an experienced IT Auditor, with audit skills in the following areas: Information Security, IT Governance, IT Asset Management, Privacy, Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery, and Regulated Systems. Joe’s audit certifications include the Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), the CISSP, and ISO 22301 Senior Lead Auditor for Business Continuity.

In Joe’s spare time, he spends time with his three granddaughters, plays French Horn in the Southwestern Ohio Symphonic Band and is highly focused on breaking 70 on a golf course soon.
